Q-Memory Limited is a UK company designing programmable, room-temperature photonic processors: chips that steer and mix light under software control.
Where we are heading
We build for quantum research labs today and quantum data centers tomorrow, with classical optical processing alongside.
- Today: a programmable, room-temperature optical circuit for quantum research labs and for university and national-lab groups working on quantum optics and photonic computing.
- Tomorrow: processors designed toward standard rack integration for quantum data centers, with stated power and footprint, and classical optical processing on the same platform.
Our patent-pending memory layer is designed to hold a chip’s settings at near-zero power, to make those processors more stable and lower-power.
Our approach
- Honest numbers. We label goals as goals and publish measurements when we have them. That is why every figure on this site carries a mark showing how we know it.
- Small, proven steps. Each phase has go/no-go tests; we do not skip ahead.
- Independent. We work with university and commercial fabrication partners, chosen for each phase.
- Based in the UK, working with international partners.
